Lake Oswego Open Garden Tour

Join Friends of Tryon Creek and the Backyard Habitat Certification Program for a Lake Oswego Open Garden Tour. This event will feature several gardens and a community demonstration site that offer something unique to help inspire your own backyard.  Each garden will showcase the variety of what the Backyard Habitat Certification Program has to offer in creating natural habitats for wildlife.

Participants will be able to learn about native plants, how to control noxious weeds, limit pesticide use, improve stormwater management, and gain tips for attracting more birds to a yard of any size. Plus, you will be able to chat with program participants, staff and volunteers.

Garden addresses will be sent Thursday and again Saturday morning. Participants should be able to leisurely visit all garden locations in any order during the 4-hour event window.

(Note: This event is not organized or sponsored by APLD; it is being shared for informational purposes only for members.)
