Versailles Garden Summer Soirée
This event will be co-hosted with Gerard Philippon, owner of Versailles Gardens in NW Portland, where attendees will have the opportunity to tour the grounds and learn about their beautiful custom greenhouses, fabulous water features, and stunning pottery, all while enjoying live music, hors d’ouevres, a glass of wine, and the good company of other landscape professionals. Très fab!

Garden Tour and Talk at Lux Perennials
Lisa Graff, owner of Lux Perennials Nursery will share expert tips on plant selection, care, and garden design before she tours us around the flower-filled paths, serene ponds, waterfalls, fountains, and Victorian style greenhouse that make up her stunning 1 acre Englisth-style garden in the NW hills.
Participants can peruse and purchase plants that Lisa propagates in her greenhouse at a 15% discount and enjoy light picnic refreshments.

Garden Photography Workshop
Join us and instructor Debra McPherson, adjunct professor at PCC’s Landscape Technology Program and Principle and Founder at Mahonia Design for this hands-on, information packed workshop: "Every Picture Tells a Story:How to Photograph Your Installed Designs Using your Smartphone"
This class will be held outside at an installed garden during the magic golden hour of evening, where you’ll have an opportunity to practice what you’ve learned by taking photos and sharing them with our instructor for feedback.

Growing Trees in a Time of Climate Change
Join us at the newly reopened Elk Rock Garden for a seminar on adjusting to climate change via site modification techniques. We’re excited to welcome our sponsor Bartlett Tree Experts and their senior arboriculture researcher Tom Smiley for a presentation followed by a garden walk. Foundational Tools for Success: Demystifying Materials Options
We know you know plants but how about the latest and greatest in hardscaping materials?
Come join us at Horizon Distributors, a local Landscape Contractor Supplier, that has several locations throughout the Portland Metro area. We will be given a tour of the design showroom that showcases many of the products they carry. This is a fantastic space to bring clients if you have different materials you want to show them. There will also be representatives from many of the premier landscape supply companies such as Unique, FX, Kichler & WAC (Lighting), Belgard (Pavers), Rainbird and Toro (Irrigation), Bull (Outdoor Kitchens) and more.

Cistus Design Nursery Tour
Join us at Cistus Design Nursery on Sauvie Island for a tour of renowned designer and horticulturist Sean Hogan’s private garden. Rancho Cistus features plants that Sean has collected from far and wide across the globe and tested in our region for climate resilience.
